About the project
The project visualises the proposed intersection improvements at Stacey Street and Hume Highway at Bankstown, a $36 million Safer Roads program, aiming to ease congestion and improve safety.

The work aims to reduce the risk of crashes with a 245 metre median safety barrier on Stacey Street. Extending the right turn lanes by 120 metres aims to improve capacity for motorists turning onto the Hume Highway. It includes widening the road on the eastern side of Stacey Street next to the service road, and at the northeast corner of Stacey Street and the Hume Highway to reduce congestion and improve traffic flow.
