WESTERN SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL (NANCY-BIRD WALTON) AIRPORT

ABC NEWS

Arterra Interactive produced a 3D animation of the expected finished product of the Western Sydney International Airport. This animation showcases the airport's combined domestic and international terminals while visualising the airport's future for decades to come. This was used on the milestone announcement of the start of the airport's construction.

PARRAMATTA LIGHT RAIL

City of Parramatta Council has long advocated for a light rail network that includes Sydney Olympic Park with a direct interchange to Sydney Metro West, ferries and the existing heavy rail network.

The stage 2 of the Parramatta Light Rail will connect the Parramatta CBD to Ermington, Melrose Park, Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park.

It will also connect to Sydney Metro West, the heavy rail in Parramatta and Sydney Olympic Park, and ferry services at Rydalmere and Sydney Olympic Park.

 

 

Cahill Expressway

Arterra Interactive teamed up with the Department of Premier & Cabinet NSW delivery 3D fly-through animation of Cahill Expressway.The Cahill Expressway transformation sits at the top of Circular Quay train station overlooking Sydney Cove and will boast unparalleled views of the NYE fireworks over the Harbour with uninterrupted views of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

JAMES RUSE DRIVE BRIDGE

The state’s second longest steel arch bridge has been lifted into place over a busy Sydney road, in a major milestone for the Parramatta Light Rail project.

The bridge will connect the local community with the new Tramway Avenue light rail stop on the western side of James Ruse Drive, and make it much safer for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the busy road.

 

 

Hornsby PARK

Working alongside Hornsby Council and Clouston Landscape Architecture to deliver the transformation of Hornsby Quarry Park. The animation showcasing the proposed master plan with abundant amenities including walking, cycling, mountain biking, climbing, field sports, and other activities

Moore Point Liverpool

Arterra Interactive's visualisation for the Moore Point Precinct is a seamless integration of photo-realistic digital model into live action footage. Our team highlighted the project's overarching importance using live video camera tracking, motion graphics, info-graphics and site context labeling.

The 3D animation showcased the exciting transformation ahead to the the future of Canterbury-Bankstown. With a strong focus on environmental sustainability and smart technology, Bankstown CBD will surely emerge as "The Place of Opportunity" for business growth and development.

Aerotropolis

Arterra Interactive was worked closely with Hassell Studio to produce visualisations of Aerotropolis, the powerful catalyst for Western Parkland City's future urbanisation. Delivering site context 3D animation and highly-detailed CGIs, our 3D experts have helped communicate the project's complex ideas for public consultation. Upon completion, the new Aerotropolis will become a thriving economic centre that revitalises the Western Sydney region, with three strategic precincts targeting tech-centric aerospace and fostering commercial growth.

We’re proud to feature the full animation of Amazon’s robotic fulfillment centre in Oakdale West Industrial Estate for the global property group, Goodman. The site is close to a large consumer population, transport links and the future Western Sydney International airport, making it accessible for faster deliveries. It was a unique experience for us to support a project that will be at the forefront of the e-commerce revolution.

 Victoria Cross Metro Station

A new Victoria Cross Station is set to transform North Sydney and Lendlease will be delivering the $476 million train station with a landmark mixed-use building above it.

The new Victoria Cross Station is going to be part of the Sydney Metro integrated station development and the proposed station will comprise of a 40-story building that will feature commercial office and retail spaces. In addition, Lendlease will also be delivering improvements to the public domain surrounding the Victoria Cross Station precinct.

Sydney Metro is Australia’s biggest public transport project. From the north west, metro rail is being extended under Sydney Harbour, through new underground city stations and beyond to the south west.

In 2024, Sydney will have 31 metro railway stations and a 66km standalone metro railway system, revolutionising the way Australia’s biggest city travels.

TBM Journey

The first Tunnel Boring Machine is currently operating at the Bella Vista tunneling site, where she will dig 9 km to Cherrybrook. The second TBM will be active before the end of 2014 ,also to be launched at Bella Vista.

TBMs 3 and 4 are currently being manufactured and will be delivered to the Cherrybrook tunneling site, where they will dig 6 km to Epping. All four TBMs will build Australia’s longest railway tunnels – 15 km twin tunnels from Bella Vista to Epping, with the tunneling contract due to be completed in 2017.

Sydney is growing quickly. Over coming decades, Sydney’s population will reach 6 million with new jobs and new communities across the city. Construction is well on the way on many essential infrastructure projects. NSW has unveiled plans for a new $10 billion metro rail line linking Sydney’s CBD with Parramatta, the inner-city Bays Precinct and Sydney Olympic Park. The line will be largely underground and will ease the current Western line congestion. Sydney Metro West trains will be under construction within five years, operational in 10.

Sydney Metro is Australia’s biggest public transport project. A new standalone railway, this 21st century network will deliver 31 metro stations and more than 65 kms of new metro rail for Australia’s biggest city – revolutionising the way Sydney travels.

Services start in the first half of 2019 using Sydney’s new generation of fully-automated metro trains. When Sydney Metro is extended into the CBD and beyond in 2024, there will be ultimate capacity for a metro train every two minutes in each direction under the city – a level of service never before seen in Sydney.

 Sydney CBD South East Light Rail

CBD and South East Light Rail is a $1.6 billion light rail line from Circular Quay to Kingsford and Randwick via Surry Hills. It will include major interchanges at ferry, rail and bus stations along the route, and pedestrianisation of a 1km section of George Street. This high capacity transport system will help cut CBD congestion by reducing the need for many bus services and providing a frequent, reliable and comfortable travel option through the city and the south eastern suburbs.

Rozelle Urban Growth Stages

A major interchange for the $16 billion WestConnex motorway will be located beneath up to 10ha of new parkland in Sydney’s inner west. A large stretch of new parkland will provide significant green space for Sydney’s inner west and an underground connection will be built to take traffic off congested Victoria Road, under the new details of the concept design for the WestConnex interchange at Rozelle.

Premier Mike Baird and Minister for Roads Duncan Gay revealed the details of the interchange, which will be built largely under the disused former Rozelle Rail Yards. This will allow for the majority of the interchange to be grassed over with a new large park and returned to the community.

Parramatta Park

Parramatta Park will be part of the redevelopment of the heritage precinct which will include open spaces and a riverside walk. The Crescent events space will be upgraded to enable the Park to stage more open air large scale music events, accommodating up to fifteen thousand people. A new playground and picnic facilities is proposed in The Paddocks precinct.

The new facilities will include a giant slide, built in trampolines, water play area, and a unique netted play bridge suspended amongst the trees. The work will also improve access for cyclists and pedestrians and increase car parking around the playground.

The Gardens precinct, with its newly conserved George Street Gatehouse, will receive $2 million to upgrade the heritage setting around the historic gatehouse and includes conservation of a small convict bridge.

Westfield Miranda

The $435 million redevelopment of Westfield Miranda will create an exceptional retail destination for Sydney’s southern region with an additional 100 retailers including high quality fashion, a new entertainment and dining precinct and premium services.

The proposed scheme includes a refurbishment of the Myer department store, a refurbished Big W discount department store, a new Woolworths supermarket and a relocated 10 screen multiplex Event cinema.

Central to Eveleigh

The area extends for approximately 3km from the Goulburn Street car park in the Sydney CBD to Macdonaldtown and Erskineville rail stations. It includes Central and Redfern stations, the Australian Technology Park, Eveleigh Rail Yards and the airspace above railway lines – in total approximately 80 hectares.

It proposes covering the railway lines between Central Station and Cleveland Street linking Surry Hills and Prince Alfred Park with Chippendale and Ultimo. At the Eveleigh end, high-rise over the railway corridor at and next to Redfern Station is proposed alongside the development of already identified land at the Australian Technology Park (ATP) and North Eveleigh.

New high-rise developments are also proposed over current operational railway areas west of ATP. Improved pedestrian and bike routes across the Eveleigh corridor are also proposed.
