Arterra Interactive History
Tony MacDonald is the Owner and Managing Director of Arterra Interactive. Born in Waihopai (Invercargill) Aotearoa New Zealand before commencing his Architectural 3D Visualisation career in Auckland, Tony is a proud Maori descendant of Ngāti Kahungunu iwi.
In 1998, Tony moved to Sydney and worked for Rice Daubney Architects and Crones Nation Architects before establishing Arterra Interactive. Under his leadership, a small team of talented 3D visualisation artists pioneered the early days of Architectural 3D modelling and visualisation. Spearheading Australia’s largest property developments, urban renewal and infrastructure projects, Arterra Interactive quickly gained a reputation for delivering cutting-edge animated visualisations for Australia's most significant projects.
Arterra Interactive’s foundation is built on successful engagements and delivery of key projects with NSW Government agencies, State Significant projects, local councils and property developers. Key client engagements include: Transport for NSW (2010 - present), The Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority (2003-2015), Barangaroo Delivery Authority (2015-2019), Parramatta Council (2013 - present) and Western Parkland City Authority (2000 - present).
